Qurbani Prices 2026: Your Simple Cost Guide

Arranging your Qurbani can be confusing for many people. The top question people tend to ask is, “where can I give my Qurbani?” and, “How much will it cost?”

This guide will help make it simple. We’ve organized qurbani price 2026 into easy pricing groups so you can choose confidently and give with purpose.

How Our Qurbani Pricing Works

To make things easier, Penny Appeal Canada has grouped countries with similar costs together. When you pick a group, your Qurbani donation goes to families in greatest need within those countries.

Simple rule: One price per group. We send meat where it’s needed most.

Two special cases: India and Gaza are single-country groups. This means your Qurbani will go to those exact countries.

How Qurbani in Gaza will work

Due to the uncertainty and difficulties facing Gaza, many have questions about how we will be able to fulfill Qurbani in Gaza. Your $355 Gaza Qurbani follows a careful journey to ensure families receive safe, nutritious meat despite border and logistical challenges:

Step 1: Sacrifices will take place in India using healthy cows sacrificed in a halal manner

Step 2: The meat will be canned and packaged for long-distance travel

Step 3: The canned Qurbani meat will be shipped to Egypt, ensuring that the meat is fully refrigerated.

Step 4: Qurbani meat will be delivered across the border into Gaza fresh and safe.

Rest assured, the meat stays cold and protected the entire way, so Gaza families get quality Eid meat they can trust. However, please note that this meat will not be able to reach families in Gaza in time for Eid. Timeline for delivery will vary on shipping times and the situation at the border crossings. These logistical challenges are beyond our control.

What Every Qurbani Share Includes

No matter which group you choose, your Qurbani will include:

  • Healthy animals only – Ethically farmed in perfect health and correct age

  • 100% halal slaughter – Performed after Eid prayer, Qalima recited, facing Qibla

  • Fast distribution – Meat reaches families same day for fresh Eid meals (not including Gaza)

  • Complete food packs – Including things like lentils, flour, cooking oil, rice, water for full feasts (items will vary by country)

  • Email confirmation – That your Qurbani has been fulfilled

Why Can’t I Pick One Exact Country?

There are many logistical challenges that come with arranging Qurbani on a mass scale. By grouping countries together, we ensure that you are getting a fixed cost for your Qurbani that you can budget for. We are also able to ensure your Qurbani gets delivered efficiently to those most in need without having a change in price. Each price point offers a maximum nutritional value for beneficiaries of Qurbani.

Understanding the Logistics: Shares vs. Animals

One of the most common questions we receive is how the “share” system actually works when it comes to larger livestock. To keep it simple: one cow equals seven shares. When you purchase a single share, you are completing your full Qurbani obligation.

For example, if you opt for a Group C share at $145, you aren’t just checking a box; that single share contributes to a sacrifice that provides high-quality meat for over seven different families. If you prefer a more traditional route, goats and sheep are handled on a one-person-per-animal basis (typically found in Groups D and F).

Timing Your Donation

The 2026 Window As we look toward Eid al-Adha 2026, the expected date is May 27 (pending the official moon sighting). This means the Qurbani window will fall between May 27 and May 29. While it might seem early, there are several strategic reasons to secure your donation now:

Availability: Our most popular groups tend to reach capacity first.

Price Protection: Early booking locks in your price, protecting you from late-season market fluctuations.

Dhul Hijjah Readiness: You can secure your automated giving now, ensuring your focus remains on worship during the first ten days.
Quality Assurance: Early logistics allow our teams on the ground more time for perfect animal matching and ethical sourcing.
